PVP Guide
PVP is important aspect of Another Dungeon. Its important to know how to properly engage and evade PVP encounters in Another Dungeon in order to avoid unnecessary deaths.
PVP is only available in Lawless zones. There is always one Lawless zone in each are, and that is Hard Channel. Moreover Grass Trial zone and forward are all-channels Lawless zones, so you can be attacked or attack someone on any channel. Outside of that Skeleton Tower Dungeon is a Lawless zone as well, so be careful while you grind there.
I think its important to note that death penalty from PVP is the same as your usual death. Its 5% of your maximum exp for current level. You can recover that 5 times per day for free and after that it costs 100 gems or some gold. Although Gold recovery doesnt gives back all your exp loss.
Although it might not feel like much but at a higher levels those 5% matters a lot.
Lets move on to Basic PVP Mechanics.

PVP Guide[edit | edit source]
Most important thing you need to know about PVP, especially if you are a beginner player, is that you can use Return and teleport to INN at any moment. That should be done before you die in order to avoid unnecessary exp loss. Keep in mind that there is some delay, so its better to escape in advance. I suggest somewhere around 50% HP or instantly if you dont plan on fighting an opponent. Although stun from Thunder Slash skill might not let you use it, just as the occasional server lags so be cautious.
Using best Potions available is a good idea as well, since it will help you to recover HP Faster and might help you out.
If you plan to fight other players a lot Evasion and Accuracy are your best friends, since they work really well in PvP, and if you are fighting P2W players you will need extra ACC to hit them properly.
Scan Settings[edit | edit source]
If you decide to engage in the PVP with other players, be it guild war, fighting someone you dont like or just massive massacre for fun you should properly set up your scan settings to make it easier for you.
By setting right flags in the scan you can make it easier to target enemies and dont have unnecessary targets in the scan window. I suggest marking Engaged Monsters (Stands for Engaged Players), Wary Players (that are on your Wary list) and Hostile Guild. This will allow you to see enemies before they hit you, or short after, instead of clicking them on the screen manually.
Another Tip will be adding your friendly players who are not in your guild to Amicable Players list so they wont show up on the Scan.
Sadly at the moment there is no option to make your character fight back when auto fighting, so when you are AFK you can be killed without fighting back.
Karma[edit | edit source]
When you kill someone you will lose karma. It doesnt happen after 1 or 2 kills, but eventually if you will keep PKing it will go down. High Peaceful Karma will give you bonuses, while negative Slaughterer karma will give you penalties.
Here is a full list of Karma levels you can get with its benefits and penalties
Karma Rank | Buffs / Debuffs |
---|---|
Peaceful 3 | Defense +3 |
Peaceful 2 | Defense +2 |
Peaceful 1 | Defense +1 |
Neutral | |
Lawless 1 | Accuracy -2 |
Lawless 2 | Accuracy -4 |
Lawless 3 | Accuracy -6 |
Slaughter 1 | Accuracy -8 |
Slaughter 2 | Accuracy -10 |
Slaughter 3 | Accuracy -12 |
If you get negative Karma you can get it back to the higher rank by killing monsters.
